This past week we had many students take Evangelism and Missions in the Church with Tim Jordan and Dave Doran. The class was outstanding because the professors insisted on ministerial models which include genuine decisions for Christ. Genuine decisions must demonstrate themselves through changed lives.
Both professors warned us against using anemic methods in evangelism and missions and challenged us to evaluate how our churches approach others with the gospel. We leave this class with a renewed commitment to take the gospel to our neighbors and to the end of the world for the glory of God.
The next module course we have is January 14-18, 2013 with Dr. Michael Vlach and Dr. Doug Brown. More information on this course will be forth-coming in the next couple of weeks.
This fall we will be offering an online course October 22 to December 14, 2012. This course will be “Preaching Pauline Epistles” and will be taught by Brent Belford. The focus of this course will be on exegetical methods while looking at 1 Corinthians. More information on this course will be made available later in the summer.
